Quickly taking-up the challenge posed by COVID-19, Mary Matha English Medium CBSE School, Pingli BK, Dahiwadi, switched-over to ONLINE mode of Quality Education with all the same dedication and determination. The official sources quote that the Online Classes were all-set to run from 26 May 2020 on a trial-basis and updated and integrated user-friendly software updates were brought-in from 10 June 2020 as the well-set and monitored regular classes began for all the Grades right from Pre-Primary. The statement released by the Principal’s office highlights “the far-sighted vision and clear commitment towards uninterrupted quality education to face the emerging crisis as the sole target at this unprecedented prevalence of the pandemic”.
Re-assuring the parent community of all norms of screen-time restrictions as stipulated by WHO being adhered-to, Mary Matha English Medium School moves forward – ONLINE – spirited and committed, in the field of Education.
Online Parents’ Meet Sessions Convened.
Class-wise meetings of the parents recorded 85.3% attendance Online.
The 10-day span from 16 July – 25 July 2020 has been marked as the period of great collaboration and clarification for the entire Mary Matha Family, as the management convened a series of class-wise ONLINE parents’ meet. The Principal Rev. Fr. Varghese Augusthy delivered Key-Note Address in each session focusing on the changing scenario of the society and the increasing role of parents in building up the career and future of their wards. The point, “All Dads are appointed as the Principals and Moms are the Class Teachers, during the days of Online Learning,” resulted in great applause and appreciation from the participants.
On-the-spot doubts dissipation and redressing of grievances made the sessions much beneficial practically. All the respective Academic Coordinators, Class Teachers and Faculty attended the sessions from multiple locations, along with the Administrative Officer, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Awale. A live Marathi translation was also presented simultaneously, for the clarity of affairs discussed.

Becoming the first CBSE affiliated school in Man Taluka, Mary Matha English Medium School, Pingli BK, adds yet another feather onto her luminous crown. The Dept. of Education, Govt. of Maharashtra granted NOC for CBSE affiliation a year back. And Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, through a year-long process and procedures including its direct inspection by a two-member committee has granted affiliation to Mary Matha School, vide Grant Letter dated 04 June 2020, allotting the Affiliation Code 1130966, under its Pune Region.
The elite of the Executive Committee has visited the Principal Father in his office and expressed their ultimate joy during this new recognition. In the words of Mr. Atul Jagnnath Shinde, the Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee, “Mary Matha School at Pingli is a God’s gift for the aspiring future generation of Man-Khatav.”

Online Cultural Competitions Became ‘The Talk of The Town’
Adding yet another feather in to its cap of success saga, Mary Matha School organized ONLINE Cultural Competitions; not just Elocution and Solo – but even Dance & Quiz. Victoria 2K20 conducted in connection with the Independence Day Celebrations became the talk of the town with a spectacular participation by hundreds of students. The Principal Father – in his opening remarks – thanked all members of the Parent Community and the Team of Academic and Admin Staff for their dynamism and assured that more is yet to come.
The Competitions were conducted Class-wise all through ONLINE MODE. The Inauguration ceremony was attended by full house audience from multiple locations across the nation. After the Benevolent Blessings of our Principal Father, the event was inaugurated through ONLINE – LIVE by Rev. Fr. Jerry Vallomkunnel, Regional Superior, MCBS Maharashtra Region. The live telecast of the special performance by Ms. Aditi Pol and Ms. Rasika Kamble, the duo from Grade VIII received a big applause.
The results are all set to be announced on 15 AUGUST 2020, during the LIVE Independence Day Celebrations.
